The Knot, located in Hope Cove in the South Hams area of South Devon is a delightful two bedroomed cottage with two bathrooms, that has been modernised to a very high standard. Located in the heart of Hope Cove, you are close to everything you need for the perfect relaxing holiday, the beach, the coastal path and the pub!

The Knot has an upside down arrangement with the open plan kitchen, dining and living area located upstairs. With plenty of windows, this space has a great airy feel to it and allows for splendid views across the village to fields and of course the sea.

The Knot, in Hope Cove, South Devon, is everything you need in a holiday home. Even before stepping inside you sense that ‘nautical feel’ as there is a large porthole window adjacent to the front door.

Upon entering, you have a choice of two bedrooms.
The master bedroom features an ensuite wet room with a shower unit, WC, sink, and heated towel rail. The room is furnished with a king-sized bed and matching bedside units. It also has a built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. If you want to be totally indulgent, relax in bed and watch TV, as this room has a wall-mounted television.
A folding door leads into the ensuite shower room. This is set up as a wet room with shower unit, low-level WC and sink unit.

Bedroom 2 is set up with two single beds and a range of built in wardrobes. Accessorized in the same nautical theme found throughout the cottage, this room has its porthole window!

The family bathroom is located on the ground floor with a modern suite with bath and shower over and a WC and sink. Blue shutters in this room add to the nautical feel.

The stairs lead up to the open plan kitchen, dining and living area. This room is furnished with a 2-seater leather sofa with matching chairs and coffee table. A perfect room for relaxing after a tough day at the beach. Sit back and relax in front of the large flat screen TV. This room also has French windows that open up to a Juliette balcony.

The dining area seats four comfortably and houses an unusual and quirky wooden bench. At the end of this room, overlooking the front of the property is the modern kitchen fitted with a range of units, oven and matching microwave, dishwasher and full size fridge freezer.

The wooden shutters and another porthole window complete the nautical theme.

To the front of the property is an enclosed patio area with raised flower borders. Enjoy the lovely Devon sunshine with a spot of al fresco dining.

There is off road parking for two cars.

7.4kwh EV charger in conjunction with Monta platform for payment. We will need prior notice if you need to use it.

We also have a double kayak that you are able to use AT YOUR OWN RISK. We just ask that you are respectful when using it. You will need to supply your own buoyancy aids.

Hope Cove

Hope Cove is a small seaside village within the civil parish of South Huish in South Hams District, Devon, England. It is located 5 miles (8.0 km) west of Salcombe and 5 miles (8.0 km) south west of Kingsbridge. It has two beaches, and is sheltered by the headland of Bolt Tail.
