Chain House is a delightful Grade 11 listed Georgian House located in the historic South Hams town of Modbury (the first town in the UK to go plastic bag free!)

Please note that due to architectural constraints this bedroom is not accessed via a conventional door but has a heavy curtain at the bottom of its own staircase, separating it from the lower floor for privacy.

Outside is a lovely large terrace with table and dining chairs.

There is a Weber charcoal barbecue and a number of garden sun loungers to be found in the garden shed. Please note that this is a shared garden with the owners but they are very considerate and you will therefore only really share this space with their cat and dog!

Please note that there is no private parking on site. There is street parking and a Pay and Display car park within a 2 minute walk.
The front part of the house is occasionally home to the owners but the two sections have locked doors between and your privacy is assured. The walls are so thick, it is really like being in a completely separate house.

Church Street, Modbury

The surrounding countryside is stunning, designated an area of outstanding natural beauty, and the views from the house open across the rooftops to meadows beyond. It is perfect for small family gatherings, or groups of friends to relax and explore the area.

Pets are welcome but they must be friendly as there are resident dogs and a cat sometimes on site!
